Welcome back rebels, it’s time to dive into HIREX lootboxes.
Lootboxes are the gateway to access the very first HIREX:Chronicles NFTs in the form of weapons, a must to play the game and power up your character.
When opening a lootbox, a weapon will be generated by an algorithm that will decide its rarity, stats and traits.
- Weapons’ rarity will range from common to legendary.
- Each weapon will have pre-decided stats, then our algorithm will distribute randomly a set amount of points (depending on rarity) to those stats.
- The weapon will then have a chance to hold a trait, each will have unique effects and graphics. We describe each trait in this article.
- Lastly we have decided to include chances to find the Genesis tag in our lootboxes. Genesis tag enhances the weapon stats even more and gives you several benefits in our presale campaign, like access to events, beta version of the game and more.
Each of these variables could raise the NFT value with just some luck.
There will be three different types of lootboxes available for purchase, each with different prices and drop rates, let’s take a quick look at them:
Common — Price 0.015 ETH: Common are the entry level lootboxes, with an affordable price you could find weapons up to legendary rarity. NFTs found inside it will also have a 10% Genesis tag drop rate.
Superior — Price 0.05 ETH: Although it holds a chance for common weapons, it has an amazing drop rate of rare, epic and legendary weapons, plus the chances of the Genesis tag have risen to 25% percent.
Elite — Price 0.1 ETH: The HIREX premium lootbox. There won’t be any common weapons inside it, only rare, epic and legendary and all NFTs will have the Genesis tag.
For the first few lootboxes sold we also decided to apply a consistent discount, this will benefit those who actively followed the campaign and got ready beforehand.
Looboxes will be available for purchase on Opensea. This is a strategic choice not only to avoid high gas fees, but also to allow to trade NFTs on their platform and interact with the rest of the community, but Opensea won’t be the only way to interact with NFTs, on the contrary, most of the fun will be in our main website!
After buying the lootbox, the unpacking process will take place in hirex-game.io, which will store all NFTs in the inventory and will allow you to see the weapon’s card and aesthetics through the HIREX Hangar, our newly developed in-game feature.
In conclusion, lootboxes are a great way to get your hands on HIREX:Chronicles NFTs, with some luck, even finding high valued weapons.
